Earned Benefits

An online, computer program that streamlines criteria for multiple support services to determine customer’s eligibility for services and/or benefits such as: food stamps, Earned Income Tax Credit, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) vouchers, medicaid, transitional childcare, home ownership credit, legal help, Maryland Energy Assistance, school lunch program.

Federal Bonding

The Federal Bonding Program issues fidelity bonds, which are business insurance policies that protect employers in case of theft, forgery, larceny, or embezzlement of money or property by an employee who is covered by the bond. The bond covers jobseekers with criminal background issues.

Get the most out of your resume. Schedule a "resume critique" with a member of our career centers' professional staff. Learn to use the most effective keywords, formatting and professional summaries in only 15 minutes per customer with a complete resume.

Job seekers are assisted with updating their resumes to fit the criteria of the new job market, using descriptive action words for the scanning process now used by many employers.

T.A.B.E. Testing

Customers who are on the intensive level (assigned to a Career Development Facilitator) are assessed on the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) in order to receive their appropriate basic education level before engaging in additional services such as, training and GED prep.
