Eric McDougle was a homeless veteran living in transitional housing and needed a place where he could use free job search resources.

Thanks to MOED’s Employment Connection Center in South Baltimore, Eric McDougle had a place he could plant his feet and gather the resources needed to find a job and training.  At the center, he was assisted by Director Davi Peterson in preparing a winning resume. In fact, Eric credits his new resume with helping him land a job as a security guard. It didn’t take long at all—just 28 days—from the time Eric walked through the doors of the Employment Connection Center to his first day in his new job.

What Eric McDougle was quick to note about the Employment Connection Center is that it is a stable place for career networking. He called the center a great place to work on his “life and behavioral skills.” and noted that “The ECC is a good place to work on life skills and awareness training.”

Outcomes & Benefits

Eric has returned to the Employment Connection Center to work on an application for a promotion. He has a goal to have independent living arrangements by spring or fall of 2016, and, with a job and the Employment Connection Center in his back pocket, his future looks bright.
