What: “Honoring Our Veterans” – Third Annual Regional Career Fair

When: Monday, November 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. 

Where: War Memorial Building

The Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED), in partnership with Baltimore County Workforce Development System and the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation – Division of Workforce Development, will host the third annual career fair. MOED’s Business Services division helps to provide businesses with a pipeline of skilled job candidates through its Employ Baltimore strategy.

The “Honoring Our Veterans” Career Fair is open to all individuals looking for employment regardless of military status. Veterans as well as non-veterans are welcome to attend. Many events are being held around the state to honor the sacrifices, memory and dedication of those who serve our country. This event provides employment opportunities to those we honor and other job seekers as part of our commitment to workforce development. There will be over 50 employers on site representing a variety of employment opportunities in fields including skilled trades, government, healthcare, hospitality, information technology, public safety and security, and more.
